About Citizens for a Better Cassadaga
Citizens for a Better Cassadaga (CBC) is a community improvement organization focused on activities that have a positive impact on the greater Cassadaga area. The group is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer organization. Its mission statement reads:
“Citizens for a Better Cassadaga works with local organizations and interested citizens to develop, promote, sponsor or support activities and events that benefit the broader Cassadaga area, and improve the quality of life for all residents. CBC leadership will organize and prioritize activities with the intent of involving a broad coalition of government, social and service organizations and residents.”
The CBC has a broad range of interests and has worked on recreational, artistic, business development and quality of life projects. It has been successful in obtaining various grants in support of some of its projects. Some CBC past projects include: beautification of the Village Common, development of a historical walking tour, Complete Streets initiatives, and several community gatherings (Strawberry Social, Labor Day Craft show, Winter Festival).
The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga has a 5 person all volunteer Board. Board members also serve as the officers of CBC.

The CBC always welcomes new members. We meet at 7pm on the second Thursday of each month at the Cassadaga library.
